First Aid Both of your School owners /Chief Instructors are not only experienced martial artists and instructors they both are qualified teachers in other fields and have been actively teaching the general public for over 20 years. Mr McConnachie was trained originally by Sensei Wilkes (National Full Contact Karate Team) reaching 1st Degree and Instructor status. Mr and Mrs McConnachie were trained in full contact Kickboxing both to 2nd degree and Instructor level under the direct supervision of Master Roberts, 7th degree Black Belt, Examiner and International Judgefor British Amateur Kickboxing Association and parent organization American Amateur Kickboxing Association They received intensive training with Master Brophy, 5th Degree Black belt and certified into CKD at 2nd Degree Black Belt in June 2002. In October 2002 they opened the Academy which at that time was the only full time centre in the UK dedicated to Korean CKD September 2005, Mr McConnachie successfully graded to 3rd degree Black belt and also qualified as Examiner making him the most senior CKD instructor and the first CKD examiner in the midlands region. |
